This fall zone calculator is for static play equipment and should not be used for play elements with forced movement, such as slides, swings, rockers, cableways, or carousels. Unless otherwise specified, the falling space should be applied at a 0.60m free height of fall and extend at least 1.50m around elevated parts of the equipment. For free heights of fall above 1.50m, the falling space and impact area must increase accordingly. For fall heights greater than 1.50m, use the calculator below.
